Christmas Hayride Through the Park 12.2011

The tradition of taking a Hayride Through the Park to see the Christmas Lights started right before Nate and I got married, or maybe right after.  I have been on the hayride every year since 2005.  I love this tradition, and if we are still living in Utah after Nate graduates, I would love to continue this tradition.  Nate wasn't here this year for the lights in the park hayride.  He was in Lovell for his pediatric rotation, but we were able to spend this evening with Blake, Melissa, Cambrie, and Zane.  We usually try to get everyone from the Morgan Family, but no one else was available.  We still had tons of fun though.

Katelynn wouldn't sit on his lap for an individual picture, but she was a trooper to sit with Santa and her sister.

I definitely tried to get some pictures of the Christmas Displays, but we were moving so they all turned out blurry.  Here comes the Christmas and New Year's posts, hope you are ready for some more crazy adventures of the Morgan Family.  Until next time!

Temple Square Christmas Lights 12-20-2010

This year, we decided that we would go to Temple Square to see the Christmas Lights. It was beautiful and BUSY! We still had lots of fun. Katelynn was a real trooper through the whole thing. Nate had the camera, so these are all the pictures that we have. Before we went down to see the lights, I got to reading about the history of the Temple Square Lights, and why they do the colors they do; this was on LDS.org. It was very interesting. We had a quick family home evening and off we headed to Salt Lake to meet Blake and Melissa and family, with Jeff. It was probably the best home evening I have ever had.
