Disney Cruise 11.2011

At the end of November, my parents took Nate, the girls, and me on a Disney Caribbean Cruise.  We flew from Salt Lake to Florida, stayed the night in a hotel, and drove to Cocoa Beach the next morning.  There are a ton of pictures, but so many that I didn't get to post.  It was lots of fun.  Thanks Mom and Dad.

Our Cruise Ship
Setting Sail Party

Madison decided to look for whozits and whatsits
Here is her first, and most interesting whozit.

While Madison and Dad were partying and treasure hunting, Katelynn and I were catching some ZZZ.

At dinner that first night, in Animator's Palate, Madison had had enough fun for one day and fell asleep.  She is basically kissing her chair.  We all got a good laugh out of it.
Katelynn, on the other hand, was the life of the party.  She was having a blast.  Here is her surprise face.

Cheese!  She loved her chocolate pudding!  The chocolate pudding mustache is the evidence.

That evening when we returned to our state room, our sheets were turned down, our blankets were folded, and we had this darling swan towel on our bed.  We had a different animal each night on our bed before we went to bed.  There was an elephant, a dog, a swan, and a few others.
Our first morning at sea.  We ate breakfast in Parrot Cove.  The Disney Characters came to visit each table.  Mickey Mouse.

Katelynn's favorite character, Minnie Mouse!

Our first dock was at Key West, Florida.  After walking forever, we finally found Ernest Hemingway's Home.  We took the tour.  It was AMAZING.  I could do a whole blog post with the pictures and information that we received.  I think this was Nate's favorite part of the whole cruise.
Ernest Hemingway's Home: he loved six-toed cats/kittens.  All 130 cats that are running around the grounds of the Hemingway Home are direct descendants from the original six-toed cats that Ernest owned.

Our second dock would have been the Grand Cayman.  There was a TERRIBLE storm that evening and into the morning.  We would have taken tug boats into the dock from the ship, but the storm was overturning the tug boats.  So we skipped Grand Cayman and went straight to Cozumel, Mexico.  In Cozumel, we (Nate, Madison, and I) swam with dolphins.  Not just stood and fed them.  We SWAM with dolphins.  We got to kiss them, then they kissed us on the cheek.  The dolphin would swim in front of us, and we got to pet it.  Then we got to have belly rides.  We would tread water, and the dolphin would come swim up underneath us on it's belly.  We would then grab its fins and we would ride on its belly the length of the pool.  We did have pictures, unfortunately, my mother left them in a jewelry store in Cozumel.  This picture was right after the dolphin swim, heading back to the ship to shower.

That evening was Princess Meet.  Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, and Snow White lined up in the lobby.  Then they met, signed autograph books, and had photo-ups with each child.  This is Katelynn in her Cinderella dress with Cinderella.

Katelynn meeting her favorite princess, Belle.  Belle was gorgeous, and so super sweet to each little child.

Madison had a BLAST with all the princesses.  Madison in her Tiana dress with Belle.

Tiana and Katelynn.  Tiana was beautiful as well.  She had the perfect accent and scooped Katelynn right up to take a picture.

Our final dock was at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.  Here we are outside the post office with Chip N' Dale.

On Castaway Cay, we were the last group to met and have a photo with Captain Jack Sparrow.  If ever Jonny Depp can't be in a Pirate's movie, this guy should be their second pick.  He was perfect, and what a flirt too.

Katelynn crashed, so Nate and I headed back to the ship.

Our last evening on the ship, Katelynn had a picture with her favorite people.  Mickey and Minnie.  Don't let her face deceive you.  She really was excited, but that was like her billionth picture that evening and she was done.

We really had an amazing amount of fun.  We might go on another, but we would wait until Katelynn is about eight-years old so Nate and I don't feel so tied down and can go do a few more activities without worrying about our little ones.  Hopefully I will be able to catch up, because we have a lot of surprises coming our way soon that I want to blog about.  Until next time, love The Morgan Family.

Going Out of Town?

Yes, we are going out of town for about a week.  It is a much needed vacation.  We are so excited and can't wait.  It will be Madison's and Katelynn's first time flying in an airplane.  A week from today, we will be headed to blue skies and sunny, warm weather!

This is where we will be next Friday!
This is where we will be on Saturday!  A DISNEY cruise!  We will be heading to the Carribean.
Jealous?  I hope so, because we are SO EXCITED.
