Madison's 6th Birthday 9.2012

Time flies by so fast when you are having fun, and the last six years have been TONS of fun.  My little girl is six years old.  I really tried to make this day as special as possible for her since we aren't near any family.  I think she still gave the day a 10 out of 10!  First her class had a birthday party for her.  I made cupcakes and she put the sprinkles on.

Madison was so sweet and kept sharing her cupcake with Katelynn.

The class sang Happy Birthday with Alvin & The Chipmunks, then Tinkerbell had a special birthday wish for her too!

Then Madison decided she wanted Cracker Barrel for dinner.  The waitress and waiters sang Happy Birthday to her and she got a VERY CHOCOLATEY piece of cake!

Since she was a baby, Nate and I decided that on her sixth birthday she could get her ears pierced if she wanted.  She did and she was brave, didn't cry, and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES them! 

I think she looks gorgeous with her new earrings.

Katelynn's 2nd Birthday 4.15.2012

I really dislike how fast time goes by.  I can't believe my little baby is already two!  She loves Mickey and Minnie Mouse, so we decided a Minnie Mouse party would be perfect for her.  We had two parties for Katelynn.  The first was with the Morgan Family at Blake and Melissa's house.  The second was at the park with the Ferbrache Family.  Oh what a GREAT time we had.

This is the part where she got too close to the candles and kind of burned herself on her chin, making her terrified of any kind of flame or hot items!  Darn it!  (This is also the the day she learned to say 'burn')!

Katelynn can't get enough of puzzles.  She especially loves the Melissa & Doug sound puzzles.

Katelynn's 1st Birthday 2011

In all of this mad posting I have done yesterday and today, I forgot to post about another VERY special day to us: Katelynn's 1st Birthday.  She turned one on April 15, 2011.  She is getting big, and has the best personality ever.  I love her to pieces.  I am thrilled to see the little girl she will become.  Happy Birthday Kater-Bug.

On her birthday evening, we opened Nana and Papa's gifts via Skype!  Thank goodness for technology.  This is the little pewter piggy bank that Grandma and Grandpa Great engraved her name on.  She loved hearing the money jingle in it.  She shook it for about an hour.  It was so cute.

New clothes.  Ha ha, I laugh at this picture because she has already grown out of these clothes!  My, they do grow too fast.

New toys and books.  She loves books.  She will sit and read them for hours.  She always babbles too when she reads.  Her favorite time of the day is story time right before bed.  She loves me reading to her.

Birthday Girl!  She has gotten so much bigger since this picture.

The next day, my family came up from Lovell, and we had presents and cake and ice cream.  Katelynn really didn't care for the candle or blowing it out. But she LOVED eating the cake.  It is a butterfly cake, just in case you couldn't tell.

Madison's 5th Birthday: 9.25.2011

She is growing like crazy, but she is just as beautiful as ever!  Thank you to Melissa for saving me with your camera. Here is my gorgeous daughter on her 5th birthday. 

She really wanted a Fancy Nancy Doll and clothes for her and her doll to match. Thank you Papa and Nana for the doll and clothes.

Thanks Poppy and Nae Nae for the new Boombox!  She loves it and uses it every night.

Here goes Z-Man!  He was crazy with the bat, I think he got a few faces too!  He had fun though and man, does he have a swing.

The homemade/handmade cake.  It was worth the HOURS I spent on this thing when she jumped up to the table and said, "Wow Mom, this is exactly how I imagined it.  It is PERFECT!"  Followed by a big hug around the waist.

Happy Birthday baby!  Thank you to family and friends that came and supported her.  Thank you to everyone who helped with food.  I loved having everyone there to celebrate this happy day with Madison.  I am looking forward to more birthdays to come!
