Madison's Preschool Graduation 05.2012

Madison is now ready for Kindergarten!  Can you believe it?  This is her preschool graduation.  She and I have LOVED Experience Preschool with Teacher Jen.  Madison has learned more than ever thought possible!  She can read a little.  She can write in the "Kindergarten Form" & she loves to figure out how things work.  She will miss preschool, but she is excited to move on to Kindergarten.  Here we come!

Here is their little "Soup Opera"!  It was adorable!

Madison's Preschool Christmas Program 12.2011

Madison and her class at preschool worked very hard on preparing a fun and beautiful Christmas Program for their families.  The videos and the first picture are Madison and her class singing Christmas Songs.  I wasn't able to record the Nativity part of the program, but I got some pictures.  She was a Wise Man for the play.  She did great, as well as her class and her teacher (preparing them and teaching them), in the play.  The Nativity brought tears to my eyes.  These beautiful little angels did AMAZING.

Madison's Preschool Halloween Parade 2011

Madison wanted to be Tinkerbell this year for Halloween.  So, she asked for a Tinkerbell outfit to be made for her and Nancy by Nana.  Nana is AMAZING at sewing.  She did a wonderful job, and Madison couldn't have been happier!  Her classmates and Madison did a little parade outside for all of the parents to see the costumes and then they did a little program.  I hope you can hear them singing!  They were so cute and Madison was fantastic, as usual.

This is the parade!
She was so excited to see me.  It just made my heart melt.
She got tired of me taking pictures real fast.
Here is her class!  Tinkerbell - Marvelous Miss Madison, Spiderman - Adam, Dinosaur - Mason, Arial - Arianna, Transformer 1 - Dax, Transformer 2 - Troy, Witch - Oakley, Rapunzel Before the Haircut - Emmaryn, Rapunzel After the Haircut - Ally, Cat - Teacher Jen
They were so cute and cooperative to let all the parents take a TON of pictures.
Sorry to cut out Teacher Jen, I wanted to get Madison!

Here is their little program.  They sing really cute songs, I hope you can hear it, you might have to turn your speakers up, and the music player is down at the very bottom of the blog, you will have to pause that too!  There were cars going by, siblings crying, and it was a little windy!  They worked really hard on the songs and you just can't help but chuckle at how well they do! :)

Happy Halloween from Madison!

Madison First Day of Experience Preschool Sept. 2011

Madison has a birthday that misses all the cut-offs for her age in EVERYTHING.  Kindergarten being one of those.  Last year, some moms and I did an in home preschool together, kind of like Joy School, but it was called Mother Goose Preschool.  (Their curriculums are awesome if you ever have questions about preschool, let me know and I will get you their information.)  It was fun being able to teach Madison and her friends how to write her letters, recognizing them, and putting letters together to make sight words, which builds into easy reading.  It is nice that Madison gets another year of preschool, she will be WAY ahead in Kindergarten next year.  Here is her open house and first day of preschool: (I can't believe how beautiful she is.)

This was her open house day.  She was so excited to meet her teacher.  When we got there, I was taking a whole bunch of pictures of Madison and asking her questions about what she felt and what she thought; all of a sudden she looks at me and says, "Mom, will you just knock it off?  This is only the open house, not the first day of school!"  WOW!  I had no words.  I couldn't believe that she was so cool about all these new experiences.
This was her first day!  I was only able to get this shot.  She asked me, "Are you going to take a whole bunch of pictures again like you did for the open house?"  I figured I didn't need to! :)
Love my big, little preschooler!  She is amazing and smart.  I can't believe she will be a Kindergartener next year.
